Another way to create a marketing website without going anywhere near HTML is to use a specially designed business website builder. These come in a variety of flavours, most of which are based on the concept of simple fill-in-the-blanks web page creation.
The most popular of these are template-based sales page generators, where information you put into the software is used to create a complete web page ready to display on your domain. There are even simpler ones designed to simply change the payment links and signature details in the sales pages you get with rights products.
The cream of the crop however, and the only one I could wholeheartedly recommend is "Site Build It!" This one is simple in nothng except usage. At first glance SBI is a "point and click" web-based website builder that enables you to get your website together quickly and easily. But I soon learnt that's only a tiny part of the story.
Before you even think about designing anything, SBI guides you through a process of defining, and refining your website concept. Integrated Web tools research which search engine keywords will be profitable for you, having the least competition for surfers.
The process forces you really analyze what you are doing, and that's excellent.
Instead of creating a website you hope will make you money, the idea of SBI is to ensure you create a website you already know will be profitable, one that will get good search engine rankings and guaranteed visitors.
It sorts out meta tags, keyword density and all that horrible stuff, then automatically submits and monitors the rank of your pages, for tweaking and resubmitting until they appear high in all the major search engines.
SBI can also manage your bids on all the major Pay-Per-Click search engines like Overture (where your position in the results depends on the amount you are willing to pay). I found this a bit tedious to set up, but once done, SBI searches out the best value keywords, and makes sure you never pay a cent more than necessary by spotting gaps in the bids.

I suspect the best thing about Site Build It! for most people though, is the simple fact that it allows you to concentrate on preparing content, sales letters, articles, etc., while it does all the tedious and technical stuff for you, and in a fraction of the time you could do it yourself.
